AIG - Ok?

I don’t know about you, but I’m about tired of hearing about this company, which is one of the reasons our economy is the way it is, receiving BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to squander once again! I hear they just got another $40 billion, so what’s that about $100 billion now? Why do they need so much money, what are they doing where they need more than most large corporations are worth combined? Last I heard, the execs were living out their lavish lifestyles on our tax dollars! You think they stopped cause they’re not on TV? I doubt it, it just got overshadowed with the election and all! That just gave them the opportunity to hide behind the spotlight, then ask for more! I don’t know the ins and outs of the insurance industry like that, but I’m pretty sure it’s not $100 billion worth of work that really needs to get done; I’m sorry, I just don’t see it! With all that’s going on, people losing their houses, unemployment is utterly outrageous, and you’re telling me that AIG can get all of this money, but the people who make these companies what they are gets nothing? What’s that about? That’s not a slap in the face, that’s a closed fist! Why can’t we just get money like that? Where are our programs to get this free money? Ok, even if it’s a loan, where’s mine? I could use quite a few thousand dollars, trust me, I’ll pay it back, just show me where to go! Oh, wait, I’m poor, I don’t deserve money that I’m going to steal and say give me more so I can do it again! I’m not one of them, the in crowd, the crooked, the two faced, the snooty, the stuffed shirts, the rich, straight politics! In my honest opinion, I believe something dirty is going on as usual! It’ll all come out in the end, just hopefully by that time we’ll be in a much better position for the backlash! |
