Brring.com - Bogus Claims

This site here is all broken promises and false advertisement! What Brring.com claims to offer is getting paid to receive calls, "right"! When I first signed up back around April of '08, I thought it was a really good deal; getting paid to receive calls, who wouldn't?! How it works is, they give a number that is rerouted your current phone number, and when people call the Brring number they hear an advertisement, then your phone rings! Sounds like a great deal right? Wrong! So for months a few friends and myself were promoting this new found easy wealth program, making $1 per referral, .01 - .05 cents per phone call, $1 for the first ten new numbers and so on! Everything was going great until it was time for them to pay! Minimum payout is suppose to be $10, I'm way beyond that, but they made up every excuse in the world why they couldn't pay right away, or they just simply went around it! Stating that they were very backed up and haven't gotten to all of the payment requests, they have to send out checks and they have so many internal issues. So I asked, "well, can't you use Paypal? Wouldn't that eliminate most of the confusion?" So they says they're working on it, they're in the process of integrating Paypal, they'll have it up soon! Now that right there is a bunch of bull!! Paypal is very simple to use and it only takes a few minutes to set it up, and all is needed are the email addresses that are already in the system for them to send money! It doesn't take months and all of the this figuring to integrate Paypal, they're full of CRAP! Then, they changed the program. They no longer pay per call anymore, claim people were posting the Brring numbers in forums and message boards to gain commissions. Ok, sounds fair, but why not just delete their accounts, and if they're not paying, what does that matter? All in all, this has been going on for months, and so I decided to do a little research and found forums and blogs about the same thing; people not getting paid! Now, I wouldn't call it a scam for us, cause we didn't invest anything, but it sure is a scam for the advertisers who are paying this company to deliver this bogus service. My recommendation, if you see a Brring.com banner or link, just look right passed it! |
