Gas Prices

Ahh, gas prices! Well, fortunately they’re going down now. But, I noticed that some areas are trying to be slick about the whole thing! At the present time, between Illinois and Indiana, there’s a major gas price difference, bigger than I’ve ever seen! I noticed that in the suburbs of Chicago, directly south, the gas prices are about .15 cents lower than the City’s prices. Now, the south suburbs prices are usually only around .20 cents higher than Indiana’s, but now it’s about .30 - 35 cents higher than Indiana. How’s this possible if prices are going down? Well, Illinois is trying to be slick! About a little more than a month ago, prices down the street were at $1.59 per gallon, so how is it now at $1.79 per gallon and Indiana is at $1.48 per gallon when then Indiana was at $1.52 and 1.48? They didn’t jump up, but it seems Illinois shot up just to go back down at their own rate, hmm, what’s that about? No one really said anything, but I sure noticed, the price of barrels never went back up, so the issue? Who knows other than money? This gas price game is getting old and there needs to be better regulations, cause these companies are still trying to milk the consumers and it’s not fair. Look around in your areas and see if you notice the same thing! It’s ridiculous, but nothing can be done unless we continually take action! |
