The World Was Not Connected!

World Connect was all big hype and no delivery! I joined this company back in 2001 and took off running, I ran so hard I forgot to look! When I found out that it was all fluff, I stopped dead in my tracks, but not before they got me though! It was $249 to sign up, plus I had to sign up with at least 2 services, OUCH! This company was based on services we already use, just redirect them through this company and save money. Man, this was easy, All people had to do was save money by using the same service and company through them, why not? So I got moving, the 2 services I started with were long distance through some company called LightYear and I subscribe to an autoship of their disgusting multivitamin drink called InnerGreens. Within my first month I had over 20 services under me; customer accounts consisted of cell phones services through At&t, long distance through LightYear Communications, security systems with ADT, and satellite services through Dish Network! I had a few reps also, but I had to slow down! After all of that, I only received a check of $50, NO! Not again, another bust! Here was another company I worked my tail off for and they give me pennies, I was highly disappointed! When I called and asked them about it, they tells me that I didn't have enough of a certain category of services. The guidelines were, I had to have more premium services than what they called basic services! Premium services were the ADT, Dish Network with purchased equipment not leased, cell phone plan of over $50 and an InnerGreen oreder of 2 or more on autoship! I had more basic services than premium, I guess those are the rules, but that wasn't fair! I had more services than my upline, but I made way less money, plus they get paid off me, but I don't, not cool! Then, the services prices started to go up on a few of them and so people started canceling! So now I definitely wasn’t going to get paid, due to charge backs. It was a giant mess and I was all too happy to walk away! Fortunately, an overzealous agent paid for my sign up so I didn’t lose anything, Thank You Matt! I'm not sure if they're still around, but if you ever come across a World Connect Communications Agent, run fast in the other direction! |
